Will I lose my SEO value when migrating to Shopify? +
Not if the migration is done correctly. We set up all URL redirects, preserve your meta data and monitor your Google positions before and after the migration. With a correct migration your SEO value is preserved or even improves due to Shopify's better performance.
Will my customer data be preserved during the switch? +
Yes. We export customer accounts, addresses and order history from WooCommerce and import these into Shopify. We do this in compliance with GDPR. Customers receive an invitation to activate their account in the new store.
Can my store stay open during the migration? +
